Recreation Center's Holiday Boutique, at 5001 E. Cheyenne
Drive. Come visit with us and see how wigs, hair pieces and
hair extensions will make the holidays more festive. We will
also answer any questions you may have.

October Festival at the
Mountainside Plaza: Southeast corner of 40th Street and
Chandler Boulevard.
Come join us for this annual festival.
Spotlighting the children of Ahwatukee, come see
performances by local drama, music and dance groups
including: Altadena Orchestra, Victoria's Dance Depot, The
Ahwatukee Children's Theater, Happy Notes Music and The
Lion's Roar Chorus. View a police car or a fire truck and
hourly seminars being held through out the morning. Shopping Center merchants
will sample food and hold hourly seminars on topics from hair
demos, wig care, crafts, home repair, to investments.
You will also be able to donate school
supplies for charity at this festival. Pens, pencils,
tissue, paper, folders, crayons, color pencils, staplers,
chalk, or anything you can spare will be distributed to
local schools. cash donations are always appreciated. If you
cannot make it on the 11th, Gee Wigs will be glad to take
your donations. during this event the local schools will
also have a cash donation box to help the local school bands
and dance teams.

East presents a ladies "Shop-til-you-drop" Day from
10:00am to 2:00pm. Gee Wigz will be there with wigs, hair
pieces, caps, and accessories. We will also answer any
questions you may have. Palmas Del Sol will be offering a
free lunch from 11:00am to 1:00pm to men and women who
attend this event. Palmas Del Sol East is located at 3400
South Ironwood, Apache Junction, 85220.

Donations for the Troops and
raffle will be held at: Mountainside Plaza: Southeast corner
of 40th Street and Chandler Boulevard. A table will be
available if you would like to write to a soldier. Bring
your children, a kind word makes a difference. Stop by and
donate any of the following items to our troops:
telephone gift cards, beef jerky, disposable
cameras, candy, cd's, chap stick, dental floss, dried fruit,
facial tissues small packs, flashlights, travel size foot
powder and/or hand sanitizer, toiletries, toothpaste,
toothbrushes, holiday greeting cards, moist wipes, nuts,
seeds, trail mix, odor eaters, pencils, pens, powdered drink
mix, razors, sardines, snack cookies, granola bars, trail
mix, travel games. All items must be sealed by the
manufacturer.
for every item donated you will get a
raffle ticket to a store in the plaza, including Gee Wigz/
chances to win prizes up to $100.00 gift certificate. Look
for the umbrella for the drop off location.

The Wellness Community, you'll find a one-stop resource

interactive experiences, and a variety of presentations
will also be included. The event is FREE and open to the
public. Parking will be available at locations all
